EIF activities at the "Day of Political Science" in Graz
On 1 December 2017, the three EIF researchers Henning Deters, Katharina Meissner, and Magnus Schoeller will present some their work at the "Day of Political Science" in Graz. EIF's Director Gerda Falkner, as head of the section "EU studies" of the Austrian Association of Political Science, has organised and will chair panel 2.4: "Gerichte und Parlamente in der EU-Mehrebenenpolitik". Her paper is on the ECJ and Austria - the first 20 years.
27 November 2017: Austria in a Social Europe?
EIF's Director discusses with Austria's Chancellor Christian Kern, EP's former Vice-President Othmar Karas, and two former Social Ministers of EU member states, in the frame of a conference in the Austrian National Bank initiated - inter alia - by the German Bertelsmann Stiftung. Gerda Falkner is the moderator of a panel discussion about different models for a "Social Europe".
