The “Vienna Research Sessions” bring together groups of out-standing international scholars to collectively work on a specific research question for two or more consecutive days. These meetings may happen once or more times per issue, the second and third meetings sometimes being on the occasion of an international conference and abroad. These formats produce books, so far with Oxford University Press and Routledge, or journal special issues.
